Elise Wingard

Elise is a senior studying Physics and Computer Science with Electrical Engineering with an interest in computer hardware design and programming. She hopes to one day blend both of her fields of study to help drive innovation and creation in technology design. She is currently UROPing in the MIT FutureTech lab working on characterizing the evolution in CPU technology over time. As someone who is fascinated by and sees great benefit in learning about scientific and technological advancements of all forms, Elise advocates for spreading the joys, wonders, and benefits of learning to as many people as possible. She hopes to help spread many innovative developments of the MIT community to people around and outside of campus through TEDxMIT. In her free time, Elise likes to dance on her own, some semesters performing with the on-campus group Dance Troupe, do photography and videography, and play the sims 4.
