Elise Wingard

As a physics major and prospective EECS major, she is interested in the intersection of computation and astrophysics how these can advance human’s understanding of cosmic structures throughout space. She hopes to explore a career path that incorporates multiple of these areas of expertise to drive innovation and creation. A strong advocate of making scientific knowledge and media widely available to everyone, Elise hopes to help spread the joys of learning present in the MIT community to people around and outside of campus through TEDxMIT. Besides TEDx, Elise dances in school through Dance Troupe and outside of school by taking weekly ballet classes. Elise also enjoy sediting photos and videos, playing the piano, and reading.
